Final Fantasy XII - A Major Disappointment

First of all, you’re probably wondering why a chix would play Final Fantasy. Well, I’m a fan. Pretty crazy over that game actually. Well, that’s just an introduction to what I’m about to say.
To all Final Fantasy fans out there, I apologize for writing this critique. Due to my disappointed heart, I can’t help but to comment: Final Fantasy XII is by far the worst Final Fantasy series I’ve ever played. It bores me to death and for once I’m not motivated to finish the game. The story goes around in circle and the characters are like dull puppets. The music is also dull and not memorable. Whew… I thought Final Fantasy X-2 was pretty ugly, but Final Fantasy XII is just… disasterrific. After waiting for over two years for this b.l.o.o.d.y legendary game to come out, I finally can rate it 3/10. I personally hate the game. That game doesn’t deserve to be called Final Fantasy. It’s a Fantasy Finagler.
Apparently, the original creator of the game is ill and therefore unable to complete the making of this game. The composer, Nobuo Uematsu, as all the Final Fantasy Fans might know, did not take part in this project. That is what I heard anyway. Either he has retired or he’s on a holiday.
Positive review: The graphic and sound are amazing. The battle system is awesome and the designs are mostly alright. That is about all I can say about the positive part.
Boring? Haha. That sucks. Thats the last thing i woulda expected.
btw, whats the best FF in your opinion? based on story, emotion etc..
other than ff7 if you were gonna say ff7 =)

My favourite would probably be Final Fantasy IX and X.
Final Fantasy IX has good environmental design and decent storyline (yet it’s worthy to be called ‘Final Fantasy’). Eventhough the character is ‘chubbilized’ (lmao), it suits the theme of the story which is sort of based on a fairy tale.
Final Fantasy X is probably the most perfect one so far. It has a good story, battle system, characters’ development and emotional touch. I was really addicted to it that I played it for more than 300 hours

Lolx. didnt play X. never bothered getting a ps2. but 9 was awesome. so awesome. I hated 8 after playing it for the first time. Too militarily futuristic for me. the fantasy part just didnt kick in. Once I got going the second time it proved great anyway. Still, 9 has my vote for best on the PS. Gotta love em Black Mages eh? And the summon cinematics. Whoa. With X, The idea of controlling summonables (aeons i think?) just never appealed to me.

I must’ve missed out on quite a bit. I played final fantasy back in the Super Nintendo days. When it was still in 2D. Final Fantasy 3 anybody?

lol nop. never played Final Fantasy 3. I dunno what’s happening but Final Fantasy 3 has good graphics when I looked it up on google. It might mean they’re remaking it in PS3 or something (just like FF7!!)
